EMPOWERED  BY JESUS
When you grow up with one hardship after another and live in poverty, it is very easy to lose hope and feel helpless. Many orphans, in addition to losing their parents and being poor, have little power because they are children. These children need to know that through Jesus Christ, they can have their hope restored and be strengthened. They need to know that they are not helpless but that they can have their souls and hearts made alive again when they realize they have a Father who loves them and has given them special gifts and abilities. By providing for the children’s physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, it is the hope that they will grow up confident and bold, having a sense of self that only comes from Jesus Christ. We want them to not give up and give in to Satan and his lies. We want them to accept and take hold of the power of the blood of the Lamb.
