ABOUT SKY MISSION
I was blessed incredibly by the people I met and got to spend time with. I cannot not recall another time where I felt as strongly as if I was in the right place, at the right time….but that is exactly how I felt in Kenya this summer. I praise God for His preparation and provision. Now that I am back, He is showing me what is next for me. So here is what the future projects look like. Late Winter/Early Spring – I am hoping to travel to Kenya to shadow one or two directors of different organizations. Following that trip, whenever the Lord allows, I would like to go on a survey trip to pinpoint a province to establish the home in and then look for and purchase land. Once land is purchased and blue prints are ready to go, this is when other people can get involved in the SKY mission. It is my hope that teams can come and help the SKY mission get off the ground from the very beginning. |
This summer was amazing. The Lord sent me to Kenya this summer to seek Him and to grow and knowledge/wisdom about starting a home for disabled children there. I had hoped, before I left, that I would come away from the trip with a clarified and more focused vision. By visiting ministries for special needs/disabled children, visiting children’s homes and orphanages, and by spending time in the slums of the Kibera, the Lord spoke to me, confirming some ideas and changing other ideas. I hope you take time review the site so you can see how the vision has grown and changed.
